#3rd Assigments PART 3 - The History of Catfish Statue

Many cities have special features shaped sculpture with a variety of forms, for example Jogja, specially with monument of Jogja, Surabaya with crocodile and sharp statue, etc. A special feature is definitely has implicit meaning or history in it. Back then, Bekasi could have the icon statue and the location was near Bekasi station. Catfish statue sculpture with harp pieces, but rather, known as the Statue of Catfish. This icon strong in memory due to its well-located communities. Catfish statue was built in 1955, the last for 7 years and abdicated in 2002.
Statue built by power Regent Moch. Djamhari moment felt incompatible with community willingness in make an icon. Regent tasting catfish and harp pieces fit because two of the land is growing rapidly in Bekasi, which is why it qualifies as an icon. Meanwhile the community feel less harp catfish and fruit is fast becoming an icon, catfish is a voracious fish which eaters all, and the price is cheap, while the harp though almost every fruit orchards in Bekasi there but price is cheap too. Then the 24 April 2002, the village chief of Sri Jaya, Tambun district, Damin Sada father and several community Bekasi incorporated in Hipprasi or BKM Baghasasi, came to the catfish statue to burn. Although now Statue of catfish had been replaced with a large clock and a large one specifically for advertising space, catfish and fruit harp sculpture created history in the city of Bekasi.
